Packaging Supplies
Have you ever considered the enormous amount of Packaging Supplies it takes to get the product you just bought manufactured? Go get the last thing you bought and look at it.
Did it come in a box, carton, bottle or bag? Was there packing material around it if it was shipped directly to you? (If not, you can bet there was at some time to get it transported safely to the store in which you purchased it.) Maybe there were instructions inside or printed one the outside. There were definitely labels on the outside to tell you what the product was, who made it, and what was included in the package, right? Were there more than one of the product included in the package, like five pens or a dozen eggs or 8 ounces of juice. All of that took Packaging Supplies.
Cardboard, plastic wrap, labels, inner wrapping, all had to be supplied. Even the ink to print the advertising and consumer info had to be fed into some Packaging Machinery somewhere along the assembly line, didn't it? It is not uncommon for a myriad of supplies to be needed in order to get a product in a sellable condition. Without supplies, the product cannot be distributed and sold to whoever wants it.
So, it really doesn't matter if the materially is in Plastic Packaging or in a box, bottle or jar, the product in order to get to where it is going is reliant on the packaging supplies to get it there safe and sound.
